One Big Tent

I got to the rooms of AA in April of 1980, and as is the case with so many of us, I had no belief in God. More than that, I was positively hostile to any suggestion that there was a God and that he had any particular interest in me or my problems. None of my God beliefs made any difference in my belief in the AA program though. I don't know where that belief came from, but I knew I was where I belonged. This AA thing would work for me.
