A Sweet Sign

On a beautiful country drive to visit his sisters, something was trying to get his attention

I was recently traveling to Wisconsin to see my two sisters, who I don’t get to see nearly enough. The younger sister was coming in from California where she lives. If I’m lucky, I get to see her about once a year. It’s a little over a three-hour drive from my house to the other sister’s house in Wisconsin. Normally when I drive for any distance, I try to listen to something relaxing. Today, I was listening to an audiobook, which talked about all the chatter in our heads and how it leads us to self-doubt. It also discussed letting our soul lead us to where we’re supposed to be. I had just finished the first hour of the drive, which consisted of about 40 miles of road construction. Normally this would have driven me crazy. However, listening to the book during most of the trip made the drive much more enjoyable.
