Being young in AA

Even though the author of “Running Wild” had left the meeting and gone back out drinking, the old-timers did not judge the 17-year-old. They encouraged him, gave him rides and showed him love. Now 56, with 38 years sober, he writes, “I’ve literally been taught how to live a happy, joyous and free life.”
