Seeing 20-20

A little over 20 years ago, I walked through a door, literally and figuratively. The door had always been there, but I had either not known about it, chose to ignore it or was never able to clearly see it. As I look back now years later, I don’t know the reason why on that particular day in October I chose to go through the door. Desperation, boredom, curiosity, last resort, I can’t say for sure.
