Inside job
With a good sponsor and the help of Step Three, an inmate in California finds hope and courage
I was introduced to AA in 2001 right at the start of my prison term. I got a sponsor through the Corrections Correspondence Service. He was a great guy, but he passed away only five months after we connected. Then I was blessed to be connected to his sponsor, who is still my sponsor today. He also takes AA meetings into New York State prisons.
