Coming to believe

Although he attended school to study the ministry, the author of “Troublemaker” did not make a spiritual connection there. He soon began to drink, eventually hitting his bottom and entering AA. It was there he found a connection with a Higher Power that worked for him. “AA never required that I believe in a specific god or doctrine,” he writes, “just that I place myself into the care of God.”
