He was told when he came into AA that if he didn’t drink and went to meetings, his life would get better. It didn’t happen that way.
I had my last drink on June 14, 2004, and was strongly encouraged by my wife (at the time) and my counselor to go to AA. During the next 6 years, if anything could go wrong, it went wrong.
