As a confused, lonely, discouraged 12-year-old boy I wondered why I was sitting in a small cramped closet with tears in my eyes, terrified for the future. I was angry at my parents for divorcing, shameful for the incestuous relationships with my sisters, and feeling incredibly separated from everyone.
