Flying blind
How a drunken pilot on a collision course with liquor bailed out and landed safely
Looking back and down into the darkness, I expected to see the small, dirt runway I had just taken off from. But I couldn’t see it. Panic suddenly struck me. I felt sober and very scared. Had I just come out of a blackout? I wasn’t sure.
