Rear-Ended

He was rear-ended on this way to a meeting, but only because his Higher Power really, really had something to tell him

I was born into a lower middle class family somehow knowing that something was awry. As I grew older, this became more apparent. I changed schools five different times in elementary school alone, until my parents agreed to let me stay put.  Being uprooted so frequently led to major delays in my ability to form stable friendships with others.  In junior high, a few people started making disparaging remarks about my non-designer clothes.  This made me feel even more isolated from peers with whom I already struggled to form relationships.
