Recently, at a First Step meeting, I broke my own personal code of conduct when it comes to speaking. I usually try to keep what I say short and simple. I keep to the basic idea that my drinking was unmanageable. But as I heard the stories shared by others before me, I found myself sharing my experience a little too much.
