As I was preparing to leave Fort Collins after having lived there for my entire 29 years of sobriety, I knew that I was trying to avoid a lot of the mounting sadness (and perhaps fear) that was building in my heart. Even so, I trudged on, feeling that I was on the right path. I still feel it is the right path. Kansas City here I come.
