I have double-digit years of sobriety under my belt, having discovered the rooms of AA in 1990. By some miracle, relapse has not yet been a part of my experience. I grew up with both an alcoholic father and an alcoholic mother. So I knew firsthand that AA was there for me, when I chose to “find” it.
