Trouble ahead

Her morning prayer was to stay sober. Who knew it would be answered with flashing lights?

I got my two-month sobriety chip at a meeting this week. It meant a lot to me and I felt very grateful. I put it in my pocket at the meeting and chuckled to myself that it was a hell of a lot better having a chip in my pocket, than having one on my shoulder. What a relief to be sober and working the program of AA again. My life was taking a huge turn for the better.
