How cobalt blue and fire engine red helped brighten her way through early sobriety
In my first year of sobriety, my life changed dramatically. The most startling change by far came in the form of paint: cobalt blue, fire engine red, apple green. These colors burst into my life. I had never done any kind of art before. Now I was staying up late every night painting. Maybe it was the coffee.
