Father and Son

Their sobriety date is six week apart. They’ve shared the same joy, pain and love as their lives opened up in sobriety

My son and I have almost the same sobriety time. The difference of about six weeks is irrelevant now, but my son jokingly says it is right that I have more sobriety because I am older. His recovery wasn't always strong. Before this five-year period, he had a relapse that was incited (although the cause is never on the outside) by his girlfriend saying he was a coward because he didn't want to open to her about his feelings. This was a tough call for him, as a Marine.
