Let go of the reins

In the summer of 2003, my wife, two sons and I traveled to Nevada, Arizona and Utah. We visited the Grand Canyon and Zion and Bryce National Parks. I had been in recovery in AA for a few years and the trip was a wonderful, living Ninth Step amends. Our family grew closer, more open and honest as a result.
