A step too far?

An old-timer talks about the changes in AA over the years, including one she’s not too fond of

My entrance into Alcoholics Anonymous in 1979 was that of a shaking, pathetic, broken human being. At the time, I remembered the movie “Days of Wine and Roses,” and called AA for help. AA took me in, cleaned me up and gave me a reason to live. I never would have dreamed that this drunk could become a sober, productive, active woman in AA.
