Step right up

It may be time for us to ask ourselves who we are selecting as our trusted servants for service positions, such as Intergroup Representative. It’s easy to encourage someone to take the position because they have a year of sobriety or less, and are willing to be of service, or willing to take a commitment if it only requires showing up once a month. But how many of these well-meaning AA members attend Traditions meetings or have read AA history?
