On my journey of walking with others in recovery, I've witnessed AA outreach to young people via literature, meetings, and various events. Results have been powerful for sponsees, friends, and AA as a whole. However, I did not experience that in the first few years of sobriety. The only young people's group in the state where I lived was a long drive away.
