Never too young

After yet another geographic “cure,” I was going to AA meetings and making trips to the ladies’ room to drink. I sometimes left the meeting drunker than when I arrived. Yet people welcomed me anyway. They shared their experience with drinking and sobriety with me, and told me to keep coming back. Members even helped me get to meetings.
