Staying sober during the holidays
The writer of “Oops, Wrong Bar!” sees a version of his old self while setting up for his AA meeting the day after Christmas. Turns out these “newcomers” were not ready to get sober. But what about those of us who are sober? How do we stay sober through all the parties, social dinners, family functions, stress and loneliness that come this time of year?
