From Collecting Cans to…Collecting Cans

Over the years our children collected everything, including baseball cards, match books, stamps, coins, and bottle caps, but nothing could compare to their collection of beer cans. Our oldest son, Ken, started his collection when he was only 10 years old. His younger brother, Tim, later joined him. Keep in mind, that they collected these cans, not for recycling purposes but to see how many different kinds of beer cans they could accumulate. Together, their collection included over 550 beer cans from all over the world. They meticulously inventoried every can by name, brewery, location, and size of can.
