Fresh out of jail, and options, she rode her bike to an AA meeting

It was the middle of November and I had just gotten out of jail for the 3rd time. I was totally alone, and utterly broken. I had no hope left, and no friends or family to call. My alcoholism had crippled me yet once again, and I had lost everything. I was leveled, and beaten into a willingness I had never known before. I sat outside and watched a few cars go by. I looked down at my broken and filthy shoes. I desperately pleaded with God for help. I wanted to make a change.
