Her move to Florida would’ve gone a whole lot easier had she remembered her sponsor’s wise words
Over the years I have heard many speakers tell a similar story. They would say, “I had some sobriety when I moved. I went to meetings but the meetings weren’t the same and people weren’t friendly. Then I stopped going to meetings and I got drunk.” I am so grateful to everyone who shared that because that possibility became embedded in my mind.
