Gone fishing

A member in Canada fondly recalls his early days and reminds us of surrender and contentment

It was a cold and windy night and I was off to see a doctor to talk about my problem with depression. I could see the downward slope I was on and I feared it would lead to homelessness and death. I had already experienced taking a drink in Toronto and then coming to in Buffalo two days later. And this after promising myself that this would be the last time.
