Answering late night calls at St. Thomas Hospital, she was helping alcoholics way before she knew she was one

I was born in 1926 and raised in Akron, Ohio. I was introduced to Alcoholics Anonymous at a very early age. As a child, I heard of a man, a neighbor in Akron, who had stopped drinking and was going to some meetings with other men who were sober.
