Forgiveness Set Me Free
My hatred for this man was festering in my soul. I sat there in court praying that he’d get a life sentence. Then he got up and spoke.
In November of 1977, my father was killed by a drunk driver. I was struck dry on this date. My rage at the man who killed him quickly turned into homicidal thoughts. I had been to AA before, but returned after this to seek relief from the pain.
