A lesbian member shares about acceptance, tolerance, relationships, God and staying sober in AA since 1979

I’m an “out” lesbian. I got sober in AA starting in 1979 when I was 29. I’m 70 now. When I was three years sober, I did my Seventh Step using the Seventh Step Prayer, which thrust me right back into Step Three. The second time through, my Third Step was what I call a fearless and thorough one. I meant it. I wanted to do it right this time.
