No better way to get out of ourselves and anchor our nerves than to pick up dirty cups and welcome people
My heart is pounding because I feel uncomfortable at our sober holiday alcathon. And yet I feel an intense need to do service work to anchor my nerves. I am acting on what I’ve been taught: Be of service wherever you are—it works every time. I know this to be true.
