During the week of Christmas, we got permission to bring food into the prison for a special celebration. The milk seemed to be their favorite of the treats.
Recently, at an AA meeting in my area, I happened to see the Grapevine annual prison issue (July 2018), with the headline: “Free on the Inside.” Wow, those words brought forth a lot of old memories and increased my gratitude once again.
