Not My Finest Hour

A member says it’s OK to share that we’re not always grateful and that we’re not having a wonderful day

My Monday 8:00 a.m. AA meeting is fine; it’s just that nothing is ever wrong with anybody. To be clear, I’m all for a strong and long-lasting sobriety. I certainly didn’t get sober to be miserable. But once those pink clouds of early recovery faded away and I got down to the nitty-gritty of sobriety, the party was sort of over. Again.
