Her alcoholism was moving quickly. A hospital stay brought peace

In a span of four years, I went from a social drinker to a daily drinker with daily withdrawals. Over a period of two months toward my bottom, I had two emergency room visits, a geographical vacation (from which I returned early, in a blackout) and three weeks at rehab. Yet I still couldn’t put down the drink.  I went through a mental hygiene arrest and another emergency room visit on August 24, 2015, my sobriety date.
