Slow Learners and Sobriety

We all have our individual stories of how we got into AA, our journey once there, and where it has taken us in our lives. Some of us hit our bottom hard, came to AA as totally defeated souls, and if we "kept coming back" and worked the Steps, have evolved to a sober and happy life without so-called "relapses." Others of us, “slow learners” like myself, took many years in and out of the program and therefore in and out of sobriety before that happened.
