Mother’s Little Helper

I still have difficult parenting moments and I still want to cry most days about things that happen. But now I don’t immediately turn to alcohol for help. I face my feelings.

I’m a mother of two boys, ages 6 and 4. I am also an alcoholic, sober just a little more than one year. Neither of these things are easy on their own, but combined? Well, let’s just say I feel as though I’m tested to the max every single day.
