Sober at 14
When I was a freshman in high school, my classmates were joining clubs and sports teams. I was stealing money to buy alcohol.
I started drinking when I was 13 and got sober when I was 14. It takes some people 30 years to reach the jumping off place. I reached the point of desperation right away.
