Something much bigger
They kept saying she was on a pink cloud. But she knew this thing she found was much better than that
I drank away my job, my best friend, my roommates and my boyfriend. Yet I didn’t see it that way. It only took a few drinks to convince myself that my problems were everyone else’s fault, or that some people are just fundamentally disappointing. Or maybe I just didn’t like that job anyway.
