When a longtime AA friend takes his own life, the people left behind struggle to make sense of it all
About 15 years ago, I knew a couple of AA guys who had been life partners for more than 30 years. They met as newcomers and then stayed together and remained sober from then on. Out of respect to their memory, I’m going to refer to them as Jim and Joe.
