My one wish

I thought, But for the grace of God I get to be here. When I left the jail, I sat in my car and cried tears of joy and thanked God that I had been given a heart that could love like this.

Early in my sobriety, even though I had done the Steps and was sponsoring women, I began to feel something was missing. When I told my sponsor Kim, she wisely told me to pray for direction. That night, I got on my knees and asked God for knowledge of his will for me. I did it again the next night and the next night and the next.
