A Good Cry on the Beach
Nearly 30 years ago, a sponsor entered her life to show her a new way to live. She also showed her how not to die
Ten years it took me to finally grieve my sponsor’s death. It’s been almost four years since I had that super-ugly cry on the beach over her passing. Looking back on it now, there was no other way for me to process my grief than the way it happened. And, as God would have it, I was able to grieve when it helped another alcoholic, as well as myself.
