At first the writer of “Even More Valuable” didn’t understand why her AA meeting wouldn’t want a pricey, cherished 1939 Big Book. “Why didn’t our group just sell it?” she writes. “We could have done a lot with the money.” Through experienced sharing by the members of her group the writer got a wonderful lesson about Tradition Seven and accumulating valuable objects and excess money.
