The Importance of a Phone Call

Drinking and drunk, I made a lot of calls to people. I was the guy who woke up the next morning with a phone stuck to my ear, not remembering a thing. Most of my calls came when I was full of liquid courage. I made them to those I loved and those I didn’t love so much—and boy, would I ever let you know!
