Alcoholics must be some of the loneliest people on the planet and we can still sometimes feel lonely and isolated, even in Alcoholics Anonymous—it doesn’t matter if we’re still “counting days” or have many years in the rooms. But the home group is place where we can choose to belong at any point in our sobriety.
