Not all is well

I was inside cooling down, and my wife came in from outside with a concerned look. “There’s a woman out front who fell,” she said. “I think she’s drunk.”

On Sunday afternoon, I took my two boys for a walk around the block. My oldest rode his scooter. My youngest rode his toy car. It has a futuristic name, but it actually looks closer to Fred Flintstone’s foot-powered car. I’m the only one who actually walked on our walk.
