Writing through the fear

After a panicked exit from a Grapevine workshop, she pulled out some paper and went to work. Spot-check inventory to the rescue!

One Saturday afternoon when I was 31 years sober, my AA district held a “Writing for Grapevine” workshop. When I heard about the event, I decided I would go because I loved writing.  The AA Fellowship had always been a safe place to learn new things (like getting published), so I packed up my laptop and my notepad and drove to the church that had kindly rented us plenty of space for the event.
