Leaning In

Since I began my journey in sobriety more than 12 years ago, I’ve had to face many real-life challenges of the sort that I would have run from in my drinking life. No one said that life would be all bunnies and daises because I had sobered up. Many of the things I was afraid of when I was drinking turned out not to be as bad as I had built them up to be in my head. But not all of them.
