A Lesson for a Long-Timer

I recently spoke on a panel at a recovery center in the Los Angeles area, the same day I was celebrating my 28th sober anniversary. While this is a highly respected facility, it has always been my concern that many participants often leave treatment programs without an understanding that continued recovery can best be achieved by committing oneself to the program of Alcoholics Anonymous.
