Staying in my Lane

If I’m a sober woman of any worth at all, then I’m required by all the gifts God has given me to repair whatever small tear I can in the universe.

When I moved to Florida, I found out my Aunt Fanny was living with her granddaughter close by in Lighthouse Point. When I told my mom I was inviting that 80-year-old aunt to my home, her face got in a twist.
