Thank God for awesome sponsorship. I’m grateful to have been taught early in sobriety by my first sponsor Louise that my recovery was my responsibility. It didn’t matter whether I was in my hometown or traveling to parts unknown, protecting my sobriety was my job. And that my responsibility starts with meetings.
