The sign on the door of her first meeting read “Miracle Women.” Could she ever be one of them?

I entered AA because I had gotten my first DUI. It was a good thing that I was stopped by the highway patrol, since I was driving on the wrong side of the road. There were headlights coming at me and I was full of fear, not knowing what to do. The officer that pulled me over told me to get out of the vehicle. But when I finally was able to open the door, I fell out of the car. I followed that by failing the field sobriety test with .145 alcohol level. I was then taken to a detox center. I was a loudmouth there, visiting with what I thought they were the staff, but they were just drunks like me. The next day when my boyfriend picked me up, I immediately started drinking.
